Blue Mountain Gallery is excited to present Short Stories, a solo exhibition featuring the work of artist, Geraldo Perez. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen, Perez brings a unique, cross-cultural perspective to his work, exploring life’s complexities through vivid and emotive visual narratives.
Short Stories examines fragments of the everyday ~ moments of love, struggle, joy, and resilience, that define our universal experiences each felt on a personal plane. The paintings in this collection offer a glimpse into uniquely personal stories blending figurative elements with abstract gestures that evoke raw emotional depth. The artist skillfully uses color, form, and texture to draw viewers into these intimate moments.
