New Zealand born and Brooklyn based Louise Guerin's work includes large landscapes, portraits and still lifes. One recent body of work is a series of images of storms, the wilder side of a favorite subject, the ocean.

"LouiseGuerin's new paintings are bold, tumultuous images. She is at her best in a series of almost black and white paintings that seem to explode off her canvases.
